They currently have 2 gorgeous cats, Florence & Zebedee. Mark & Lucy started Petpals (Norwich) in February 2006, following many years working in the television industry. They decided to give up the daily commute to London and pursue something new following their move back to Norwich, & a career that allowed them to combine their love of animals with the great outdoors led them to Petpals.
At Petpals we are fully trained and insured. Our pet sitting services are flexible and can be tailored to your pet’s individual needs. We offer two options for our dog walks & puppy visits, depending on your dog’s needs. 30 minutes is usually sufficient for puppy outings and the more mature, & 60 minutes seems to satisfy the most energetic and enthusiastic dogs. Norwich is blessed with numerous parks & woodland, and we offer as much variety as we can. We will make every effort to match socialised dogs with a playmate, and for those who have to stay on a lead, or prefer something a little more sedate, there are plenty of bridal paths at our disposal. We can guarantee that your dog will have a great time, wherever he goes and whatever the weather!
We offer a one-to-one home boarding facility in our own home. (We are happy to take 2 dogs by arrangement). We have no kennel & we don’t use cages, so your dog would live in the house with us and get all the care & attention he needs.
We also offer a day-care facility for Clients who prefer their dog to be out & about during office hours. Plenty of exercise can be arranged, with as much rest & relaxation as your dog needs. We also provide a free pick-up & drop-off service for our day care clients. This service is also ideal if you are going out for the day, to a wedding or a party, and want to know that your dog will be well exercised & entertained during your absence!
Petpals has proven to be very popular with clients who would rather leave their cats at home, surrounded by all that is familiar to them. Cats thrive in their own environment and are generally much happier with their own creature comforts. We clean food bowls & litter trays during every visit, and ensure there is plenty of time to play with & cuddle any cat that enjoys the attention! We are also happy to care for any cat needing medication, including those requiring regular insulin jabs to control Diabetes.
We can transport your pet in comfort and safety, so if you are moving house or just need us to take him to the vet, give us a shout.
